Description
Over 20 years ago, Fang Lizhi, a prominent leader in student demonstrations and a democracy advocate, fled to the U.S. Embassy in Beijing after the Tiananmen Square Massacre. He stayed there for the next 384 days, sheltered from the brutal crackdown that gripped the nation, before he and his wife were flown to the United States.
